Superior Workforce

Skilled. Dedicated. Productive.

Our workforce comes with a strong work ethic comparable to no other. With a rich agricultural and manufacturing heritage, Clarendon County workers have the know-how to deliver quality products and services. The county's non-existent union activity, lowest work stoppage rates, and some of the lowest workers' compensation rates in the U.S. make it a prime location for businesses seeking an employer-friendly environment.

When Clarendon County hired The Pathfinders to analyze its current workforce availability, they found that our area is home to approximately 61,200 underemployed workers, 37,000 unemployed people who are actively seeking work, and another 11,600 unemployed individuals who would consider re-entering the workforce. That means that there are 109,800 available workers for new or existing employers.
